Weymouth Design Creates New Website for Brooklyn Law School
New site puts BLS in top tier of law school websites

BOSTON, MA (December 9, 2009) – Weymouth Design today announced that Brooklyn Law School has launched their new website, www.brooklaw.edu. Weymouth Design was involved in the creative development and production of the website, along with the creation of photographic and video content.

“We chose Weymouth Design because of their visual branding skills and experience beyond higher education,” said Henry Haverstick III, Dean of Admissions at Brooklyn Law School. “They also were a development partner with Sitecore, our Content Management System choice. We are really pleased with the end-result - a website that captures the culture and spirit of BLS.”

Tom Anderson, President of Weymouth Design, noted: “As most large, complex websites, this was a real collaborative creative effort with the communications and IT teams at Brooklyn Law School. We all took the time at the beginning of the project to take a new look at prospective law students and what they wanted to achieve online.” Tom Kraft, Creative Director, added: “The overall design addressed the key needs of prospective students and the goal of admissions to move admitted students through the acceptance process. The site photography also captured BLS’s Brooklyn neighborhood - a major recruiting advantage for the institution.”

The project included online focus group research, custom photography and classroom video production. Back-end development work included the integration of the CMS system, Sitecore, with Sharepoint and other legacy systems.
